Our Special Cat Retreat (OSCAR) is a small, home-based shelter for “special” cats. It goes without saying that all cats are special in their own way, but we have specialized in cats that do not do well in the bigger shelters. Mostly these are FIV+ cats, but we also occasionally foster very young, very old, very shy, or very badly injured cats. Cats that we expect will have to spend a long time in foster care before eventually making it to their new homes.
